CCCI Enhances Precision in Manufacturing with Industrial Calibration Training.

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), a leading advocate for business excellence and innovation, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region 7 – Regional Standards and Testing Laboratory (RSTL), is set to conduct a 3-day Industrial Calibration Training from October 18 to 20 at DOST Regional Office 7, Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City.

This training marks the continuation of a journey toward precision in manufacturing, post-pandemic. The first leg of this initiative saw enthusiastic participation, with 27 professionals from diverse sectors engaging in the calibration process.

The training’s primary focus is revisiting stablished best practices and applying calibration as a precise process. This approach aims to minimize measurement uncertainty and control errors, catering to professionals engaged in plant operations.

One of the key objectives of this training is to equip business owners with the confidence that their products are designed not only to meet but potentially exceed the stringent benchmarks of top-tier quality standards. This assurance is crucial in helping businesses stand out in the competitive markets and secure customer loyalty.

CCCI has enlisted renowned expert in the field, Engr. Roberto B. Edra, to share his knowledge and expertise as resource speaker. Through a combination of engaging lectures, discussions, and practical hands-on exercises, the training will cover Metrology and Measurement Standards for variables such as Mass, Temperature, Pressure, and Length. Participants will also gain insights into the methods used to calibrate measuring instruments.

Registration comes with an investment fee of Php 6,720 for CCCI members and Php. 7,840 for non-CCCI members.
